What makes you the Next Music Star?
What makes me different is that I’m always trying to create my own sound instead of following what’s already popular. I make my music from home and put a lot of myself into every part of it, from the production and vocals to the way I put projects together. I like experimenting, taking risks, and creating music that feels like its own world. I’m still building, but I’m serious about becoming an artist people remember. I want to grow, perform, connect with people, and show the world what I can create as Zxonn.
What do you love about music and performing?
I love that music gives me a way to turn my thoughts, experiences, and emotions into something other people can feel. Performing takes that to another level because there’s nothing like hearing a crowd react to something you created. I love the energy, the adrenaline, and being able to give people an experience instead of just playing them a song. Music has always been about expression for me, and performing gives me the chance to bring that expression to life in front of people.
Who are your biggest music inspirations and dream collaborators?
Some of my biggest music inspirations are Yeat, OsamaSon, Drake, and Frank Ocean. I’m inspired by how each of them has developed a sound and identity that feels completely their own. I like the energy and experimentation in Yeat and OsamaSon’s music, while Drake and Frank Ocean inspire me with their songwriting, emotion, and ability to create a strong atmosphere. My dream would be to collaborate with any of them and bring my own sound to the record while creating something none of us has made before.
What would you do with the $10,000 Grand Prize?
If I won $10,000, I would put some of it toward my music, like getting better equipment and improving my setup. I would also use some of it to give back to my family and help them out. I would save the rest so I could use it toward bigger goals in the future.
