What makes you the Next Music Star?
My dedication and passion for music and people. I personally think music can be such a powerful thing and being able to utilize it in a way that makes others feel heard and less alone in the things they don’t speak on or struggle with is such a gift. I’m thankful for the people I’ve been able to connect with and experiences I’ve gotten to listen to thus far in my musical journey.
What do you love about music and performing?
I love (again) the power music carries. It’s power to connect people, to heal, to influence…..the fact that there are so many potential societal AND medical benefits makes it all that much more magical. That and it makes my soul happy. Performing is my absolute favorite whenever I get a chance. Being on stage, getting a chance to go all out in creativity and emotion? So good. Getting to watch the connections and emotion on faces in the crowd in real time is SUCH a special feeling.
Who are your biggest music inspirations and dream collaborators?
Gosh…where to even start… I grew up on vocals & music of artists like Bishop Briggs, Demi Lovato, Adele, Stevie Nicks, Halsey, Amy Winehouse, Amy Lee and SO many more INCREDIBLY talented women/bands who’s live vocals genuinely give me the chills. I’d say those are equally my dream collaborators. Halsey’s been a HUGE one for me lately.
What would you do with the $10,000 Grand Prize?
Give back to those I haven’t been able to both within my community & personally.
