What makes you the Next Music Star?
What makes me the next Music Star is that im building my entire music world from the ground up. Im not just making music, but I am creating a whole entire world around it including visuals, concepts, performances, with my identity still in them all. I am a very ambitious person when it comes to my music from teaching myself how to create visuals, model, edit, promote, all while juggling things like school. Ive learned how to turn an idea in my head into something people can feel/experience. Every song I create always has a strong story behind it, from upbeat pop songs about love, to darkpop songs about challenging people in my life. From my first release to every future release I always learn something new about how to be a better artist, and how to push myself for the better to bring people an even better experience every single time. Im still just starting my music journey, but the hunger I have for it even just from the beginning is the exact reason I should be the Next Music Star.
What do you love about music and performing?
I love the connection I feel with the people im performing for while im performing. Watching people step into my world is something I will never forget everytime I perform. I love the energy the crowd brings along with the music, visuals, and fashion thats all tied to it. I love how instead of feeling like im just up on a stage singing, its more like the crowd is experiencing world that ive built and now the crowd is feeling it.
Who are your biggest music inspirations and dream collaborators?
Some of my biggest inspirations are artists like Bruno Mars, Doja Cat, Ariana Grande, Dua Lipa, Sabrina Carpenter, Zara Larsson, and Tate Mcrae. I am inspired by artist who also create a whole world that their fans can connect with and artist who can create a entire experience through their music with fashion, visuals, and performance.
What would you do with the $10,000 Grand Prize?
I would put the money directly back into my music career. As an independent artist, I’ve learned how to create an entire world from practically nothing, largely by myself, but with $10,000 I would be able to bring my projects to a completely different level. I would put it toward professional music production, mixing, mastering, music videos, photography, performance equipment, and promotion for future releases. I’d also use some of it to develop a live show that I could bring to different venues and cities. My goal wouldn’t be to spend it all on one project, but to use it to build a stronger foundation for everything I create next.
