What makes you the Next Music Star?
We’re The Ruffles—two sisters with one big dream, original music, and an energy that’s impossible to fake. We write, sing, play, and record our own songs, bringing our own sound and fearless attitude to pop-rock. We started chasing this dream at 12, and we’ve never stopped. From recording six original songs, including at the legendary Abbey Road Studios, to building our sound one song at a time, we’re proving that age doesn’t define how big you can dream. We’re not trying to sound like anyone else—we’re here to make music people feel, remember, and sing at the top of their lungs. We’re two sisters, a few instruments, two voices, and one unstoppable mission: to take our music to the world. Give us the stage, and we’ll show you why The Ruffles are the next big star!
What do you love about music and performing?
What we love most about music is that it lets us express who we are, tell our stories, and connect with people without having to explain a thing. As sisters, we get to share something incredibly special—we write the songs, play the instruments, sing the lyrics, and bring our ideas to life together. But performing is where it all becomes real. There’s nothing like the rush of stepping on stage, feeling the energy of a crowd, and watching people connect with something we created from our hearts. We want people to jump, sing, feel something, and leave wanting more. Music is more than what we do—it’s who we are, and we can’t imagine doing anything else
Who are your biggest music inspirations and dream collaborators?
Our biggest inspirations are artists who aren’t afraid to be themselves, push boundaries, and bring incredible energy to their music and live performances. We love the attitude of Joan Jett, the creativity of Taylor Swift, the song writing of Billy Joel, the raw energy of Cold Play, and the fearless spirit of artists who turn their own stories into music that connects with millions. Our dream is to collaborate with artists and producers who challenge us to think bigger and create something nobody has heard before. Working with someone like Paul Oakenfold or Calvin Harris would be incredible because we love the idea of blending our pop-rock sound with unexpected new styles. Ultimately, our dream is to collaborate with artists we admire, learn from the best, and create music that brings people together across generations. And someday, we hope to be the inspiration for the next generation of girls picking up a guitar or sitting behind a drum kit.
What would you do with the $10,000 Grand Prize?
We’d put the $10,000 straight into our music career! We’re two sisters chasing one big dream, and every dollar would help us take the next step. We’d invest in recording more original songs, creating amazing music videos and content, and getting our music in front of more people. We want to keep growing as artists, building our fan base, and bringing our music to stages around the world. Winning would be more than a prize—it would be fuel for our dream. We’re ready to work hard, make great music, and show the world what The Ruffles can do!
