What makes you the Next Music Star?
I'm not chasing a moment, I'm building a world. I'm st3f from Minneapolis — independent, self-made, and dropping two albums back to back (Still Dreaming Side A on Christmas, Side B on New Year's Day) because the work doesn't stop. My music is a feeling you can't explain: pain, faith, ambition, and the things we don't say out loud, all in one sound. I feel everything and reveal nothing — and people see themselves in that. That's what a star is: somebody whose story makes other people believe theirs matters too.
What do you love about music and performing?
Music is the one place I don't have to hide. It's how I process the weight of my past and the dreams I'm chasing at the same time. Performing is different — that's where it stops being mine. Watching a room full of strangers feel something you wrote alone in the dark, that's the exchange. I give them the truth, they give me their energy back. Nothing else feels like that.
Who are your biggest music inspirations and dream collaborators?
I'm inspired by artists who built worlds and never compromised them like XXXTENTACION, Juice WRLD, & Mac Miller who actually turned real pain into timeless music and stayed in control of their own story. Dream collaborators are people who are the ones who treat every record like it has to mean something. If we link, it's because the feeling matches, not the numbers.
What would you do with the $10,000 Grand Prize?
Every dollar goes back into the mission. Better production, visuals that match the world I'm building, and a real rollout for the albums — all through my own label I made with some friends, MollyBoysRecords, so I stay independent. And it's bigger than me: Generation Five is about building something the next artist from my city can stand on. The prize wouldn't change the dream. It would just fuel it.
