What makes you the Next Music Star?
After nearly a decade of performing throughout the Southeast, Quantaphonics has developed a signature big band sound and stage presence that are unmistakably our own. From original music and unique cover interpretations to our visual aesthetic and merchandise, we deliver an experience beyond the stage. Formed circa 2017, we continue moving to the beat of our own drum with the same passion and hunger that brought us together. As a family of musicians from diverse backgrounds, our mission is to spread love through music and unite people across cultures. We believe we are in our prime and are ready to embrace the challenges of an evolving industry. We are not here to follow trends, but to build a lasting legacy, represent our community, and share our infectious energy with the world. Quantaphonics is more than a band; we are a family and a dream in motion, ready to take the next step.
What do you love about music and performing?
For Quantaphonics, rehearsals and performances are our safe spaces. As musicians from different cultures, backgrounds, and walks of life, music gives us common ground to express ourselves freely, celebrate our differences, and create something meaningful together. Nothing compares to the energy exchanged between us and an audience when the music takes over. Whether performing original songs or reimagining familiar favorites, we love seeing people connect through rhythm, emotion, and shared experiences. Music allows us to inspire others to pursue their dreams, embrace who they are, and recognize the beauty of coming together. Knowing our performances can uplift someone, make them feel seen, or bring people together is what fuels our passion.
Who are your biggest music inspirations and dream collaborators?
Our musical inspirations span generations and genres, reflecting the diverse sound and creative spirit of Quantaphonics. We admire artists who push boundaries, honor the roots of soul and R&B, experiment with groove, and bring something unmistakably their own to the stage. Our inspirations and dream collaborators include The Black Keys, Alabama Shakes, Al Green, Ronald Isley, Babyface, Gary Clark Jr., Nick Hakim, Mayer Hawthorne, Lake Street Dive, Vulfpeck, PJ Morton, Leon Thomas, Moonchild, Anderson .Paak, Cory Henry, JoJo, Hiatus Kaiyote, and Bilal. From timeless soul and blues to progressive R&B, funk, and genre-defying performances, these artists inspire us to keep evolving, exchange creative ideas, and introduce the Quantaphonics sound to audiences around the world.

We would reinvest the $10,000 directly into Quantaphonics’ future by investing in our music, upgrading essential performance equipment, and securing reliable transportation to reach new audiences. As an independent band, every investment helps expand our opportunities and take our live experience to the next level. This prize would strengthen our performances, support our growth beyond the Southeast, and help build the foundation needed to expand our reach. Our ultimate goal is to take our infectious energy, original sound, and message of unity around the world. We would view this prize not simply as a reward, but as an investment in our collective dream and the next chapter of our journey.
