Learn More About Natasha Remi
What makes you the Next Music Star?
While music moves in the direction of using more and more technology, I believe in real people making real sound, therefore creating a more authentic connection to my audience. Music has the power to heal and my current songwriting focuses on the human experiences post-COVID and the collective awareness of trying to become the best version of ourselves that we can be.
What do you love about music and performing?
I feel most like myself when I am singing! People have commented that when I perform, they can "see my soul" and I think that is accurate. I put it all out there and I find it most fulfilling when I can use my gift to uplift those around me.
Who are your biggest music inspirations and dream collaborators?
Honestly, anyone and everyone. I think we are so blessed to be in a world of such creative possibility that I truly feel any mentor would be an opportunity for growth.
What would you do with the $10,000 Grand Prize?
I actually would use it for my teaching studio; I am lucky enough to be a music educator and would like to continue to invest in future musicians and artists. I want to be able to build a space where my students can feel fully supported because we have unlimited tools at our fingertips to help in our musical journeys :)
