What makes you the Next Music Star?
I aspire to inspire. This is bigger than me. As Muze, I want people facing adversity to feel seen, supported, and capable of taking their next step. I want someone close to giving up on themselves or their dreams to hear my music and think, “I can keep going, too.” Music helped me find my way forward. Now I’m dedicating my voice to helping others find theirs. After facing trauma and being diagnosed with PTSD while already facing chronic illness, I turned to music to heal. I left a digital marketing career to grow as a vocalist and songwriter, knowing starting over meant long hours and financial uncertainty. I’m willing to do the work because I believe in what my voice can give. I’m building that vision through vocal practice, honest songwriting, and live performances that bring people together. I bring the discipline to keep improving, the courage to start over, and the purpose that keeps me moving. I aspire to inspire, one song and one human connection at a time.
What do you love about music and performing?
I love discovering what my voice can do while building my courage and confidence to step outside my comfort zone. Learning a new vocal technique, hearing my progress, and finding ways to apply what I’ve learned to a cover or an original song make this journey exciting. Without formal vocal training, I’m learning through practice and experimentation, and every step forward feels meaningful and builds connections. The most meaningful part is how that growth can reach someone else. When a song I sing comforts someone on a hard night, or when seeing me try something unfamiliar inspires them to take a chance on themselves, I feel like I’m fulfilling my purpose. I keep learning, practicing, and bringing new techniques into my performances, allowing myself to grow in front of others. Each song is an opportunity to strengthen my voice and make someone’s night a little better. I love that pursuing my own growth can help someone else believe in what’s possible for them beyond the music.
Who are your biggest music inspirations and dream collaborators?
Taylor Swift, Livingston, and Able Heart inspire me to dream boldly and create music with purpose. I admire Taylor’s intelligent songwriting, business instincts, and persistence. She reminds me to bring both creativity, strategy, and discipline to building a lasting career. Livingston’s songwriting, production, and emotional honesty resonate deeply with me. During a difficult chapter, his song “Glow” gave me hope I thought I had lost. Able Heart’s drive as an independent singer, songwriter, and producer inspires me, along with his uplifting messages and exploration of frequencies. His story and music became part of my healing and helped me believe in possibility again. All three are dream collaborators. I would love to learn from their creative processes, write and record together, and turn personal experiences into songs that help people feel understood. My dream is to give someone the hope their music gave me.
What would you do with the $10,000 Grand Prize?
My goal is purposeful profitability: building a sustainable career that gives me the resources to give back. I’d use the $10,000 to grow my music career and build a platform that uplifts others. I’d invest in vocal development, recording equipment, and assets to support my original music, brand, and website. Using my digital marketing experience, I’d build campaigns that connect my songs with the right audiences and bring my music to more people. My long-term dream is to found a nonprofit for people facing chronic illness, mental health challenges, or the effects of trauma and domestic violence. I want to help others turn adversity into art by providing tools, resources, and encouragement to develop their talents, build their own platforms, and pursue their dreams. This prize would help me strengthen my craft, grow my audience, and work toward the financial stability to support that vision. I want the opportunity I receive to become an opportunity I can pay forward to those in need.
