What makes you the Next Music Star?
deserve to be the next music star because I’m bringing real talent, real emotions, and a story people can relate to. As a Chicago artist, I use my music to turn my pain, struggles, and experiences into something powerful. I’m not just chasing fame — I’m chasing greatness, inspiring people, and putting my city on the map. This is bigger than a moment for me. I’m KingJay, and I’m ready to show the world why my time is now!
What do you love about music and performing?
hat I love most about music and performing is being able to express my real emotions, tell my story, and connect with people who relate to what I’ve been through. Music gives me a voice, and performing lets me feel the energy of the crowd and bring my songs to life. As KingJay, I want my music to inspire people, touch hearts, and show the world that no matter where you come from, you can turn your pain into purpose.
Who are your biggest music inspirations and dream collaborators?
My biggest music inspirations are artists like Polo G, Lil Durk, and A Boogie wit da Hoodie because they know how to turn real-life experiences, pain, and emotions into music that connects with people. My dream collaboration would be with Polo G or Lil Durk, because I feel like our styles could create something powerful. As KingJay, I want to bring my own sound, represent Chicago, and make music that people can feel and relate to
What would you do with the $10,000 Grand Prize?
If I win the $10,000 grand prize, I would use it to support my family, give back to people in need, and invest in my music career. My goal is to help take some financial stress off the people I love while creating more opportunities for myself and others. I want to use my success to make a positive difference, because winning isn’t just about me — it’s about bringing my family up and giving back to my community.

Participation supports Musicians On Call, a 501(c)(3) charity, which brings live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients, families and caregivers in healthcare environments.
