Learn More About Kevin Allure
What makes you the Next Music Star?
What makes me the Next Music Star is that I’m building something that feels true to who I am. I’m an R&B/Pop artist who writes my own music, develops my own creative concepts, and continues to push myself as both a vocalist and performer. I’m not interested in copying what’s already working for someone else — I want people to hear a Kevin Allure record and recognize the personality, emotion, and confidence behind it. I’ve grown a lot as an artist by performing live, releasing my debut EP, and learning how to trust my own instincts creatively. I’m still evolving, but I think that hunger to keep growing while staying authentic is what makes me stand out.
What do you love about music and performing?
Music gives me a way to say things I might overthink in conversation. I love turning a feeling into a melody and finding the words that make someone say, “That’s exactly how I feel.” Performing takes that connection further. A song starts as something personal, then becomes something an entire room can share. My first solo performance taught me how rewarding it is to step through nerves and let people experience my artistry. I love the energy, the freedom, and those moments when I stop thinking about everything and just feel the music. That’s the experience I want to give an audience, too.
Who are your biggest music inspirations and dream collaborators?
Usher, Beyoncé, and Bruno Mars are major inspirations for their vocals, stage presence, and ability to make R&B/Pop feel both personal and larger than life. They motivate me to be thoughtful about every part of a song while developing my own identity. My dream collaborators include SZA, Harry Styles , and Leon Thomas. I’d love to create something with soulful vocals, an undeniable groove, and a hook people want to sing again before the song is even over.
What would you do with the $10,000 Grand Prize?
I would invest the $10,000 directly into my next chapter as an artist, recording, production, mixing and mastering, compelling visuals, and a focused marketing campaign to help my music reach new listeners. I would also put part of it toward vocal coaching and live rehearsals so my performances grow alongside my recordings. As an independent artist funding my career while working full time, I know how much planning goes into every release. This prize would give me room to execute ideas I’ve had to build toward gradually and turn this opportunity into lasting momentum.
