What makes you the Next Music Star?
1. We have an identifiable identity Holtfaction isn’t simply “an alternative rock band.” The combination of grunge, goth, post-punk, industrial darkness, distorted guitar, and punk energy gives us a recognizable lane. Outside descriptions are already using terms like “explosive occult rock duo” and “raw energy, heavy riffs, post-punk attitude.” That’s valuable because people remember an identity before they remember a genre. 2. Two people creating that much noise is inherently interesting Holtfaction is a two person rock machine. That’s visually and musically compelling. We are not hiding behind six musicians on stage. The audience can see exactly who’s responsible for the sound. Veda isn’t just “the drummer.” The two of us are part of the mythology and personality of Holtfaction. 3. We have something that can’t be manufactured. There are thousands of technically competent bands. Far fewer have a story. Holtfaction has years of life experience.
What do you love about music and performing?
We love the entire process. The excitement during load in, sound check, seeing the music fans filling the venue to the rush of curtain call. We love meeting new people, new fans and connecting with our audiences live. Holtfaction loves traveling. We have no anchors.
Who are your biggest music inspirations and dream collaborators?
