What makes you the Next Music Star?
I'm 25 and searching for my big break. I've been pursing music for over ten years but have yet to find true success. But I'm not giving up either. It's become so normalized for people to make it in the music industry in their late teens and early twenties but most people don't even start careers until their mid-twenties let alone find success until average 40 years. So I want to be someone that others can look to for reassurance when they need a reminder on why not to give up.
What do you love about music and performing?
I love the way it creates strong and unique communities. There's nothing like finding a song that perfectly describes what you're going through and being able to connect with others who relate to the same thing. When you go to someone's concert, each audience is different because each artist connects with different people and I think that's such a beautiful thing.
Who are your biggest music inspirations and dream collaborators?
PVRIS and Ayleen Valentine
What would you do with the $10,000 Grand Prize?
Not live paycheck to paycheck for a moment in my life. I would invest a little, put another portions towards fixed bills, and use the rest to invest in myself as an artist. Hire an actual producer for my next single like I've been wanting to but haven't been able to afford, invest in a new music video, etc.
