What makes you the Next Music Star?
My blend of brash pop-punk effervescence and Nashville style storytelling sit at an intersection of 2000s pop, the Warped Tour style of pop-punk, Ella Langley style country narratives, powerhouse vocals, and modern electronic production. By blending together two generations of female pop music, my songs are the soudntrack to heartbreak, anger, and personal growth, where people can scream-sing along as they let go of what's holding them back. Defining a new generation of 2000s-nostalgic pop-rock, I am unafraid to be blunt and funny while I do it, and hopefully people can listen to me and be that way in their own lives, too.
What do you love about music and performing?
Connecting with other people! Watching people sing along and dance to my music makes me the happiest. Making people laugh between songs is also a plus.
Who are your biggest music inspirations and dream collaborators?
My biggest inspirations are Avril Lavigne, Paramore, Taylor Swift, 2000s era pop like Britney Spears and Christina Aguilera, Demi Lovato, JoJo (Joanna Levesque), Michelle Branch, Fall Out Boy, Olivia O'Brien, and Warped-Tour bands like State Champs My dream collaborators are: Bonnie McKee (songwriter), Patrick Stump (of Fall Out Boy), Josh Ramsay (of Mariana's Trench), State Champs, Julia Michaels (songwriter), Justin Tranter (songwriter), Avril Lavigne, and Big Sean (rapper).
What would you do with the $10,000 Grand Prize?
With the $10,000 Grand Prize, I would put it towards the release of my upcoming EP.
