What makes you the Next Music Star?

I’m DEIMOS, a Los Angeles-based singer, rapper, guitarist, songwriter, and producer. I combine the energy of rock, the attitude of hip-hop, and the melodies of pop. I build my songs from the first idea to the final production, and my album “No Time for the Club” captures that vision. Whether I’m singing, rapping, or playing guitar, you hear different sides of the same artist. I’m ready to bring that sound to a bigger stage.

What do you love about music and performing?

Music lets me express things I can’t always explain in conversation. I love turning a feeling into a melody, building a song around it, and then sharing it with people. Performing takes that connection further: something that started as a private idea becomes a moment we experience together. Singing, rapping, and playing guitar give me different ways to connect. I want people to leave my shows feeling energized, understood, and ready to be themselves.

Who are your biggest music inspirations and dream collaborators?

I’m most inspired by artists who have a recognizable sound but keep exploring. I draw from the energy of rock, the storytelling of hip-hop, and the melodies of pop. My dream collaborators are singers, rappers, guitarists, and producers who are open to bringing those influences together. I’d love a collaboration where we challenge each other creatively and make a song neither of us would have made alone.

What would you do with the $10,000 Grand Prize?

I’d invest the $10,000 directly into my music: finishing new songs, improving my recording setup, creating strong music videos, and promoting my releases to reach new listeners. I’d also put resources into rehearsals and developing a live show that brings my vocals, rap, and guitar together. As an independent artist, I balance earning a living with making music. This prize would give me more time and resources to turn my ideas into finished work and share it with the world.
