What makes you the Next Music Star?
I’ve devoted my life to music, pouring everything I have into turning my dreams into reality. I’ve made countless sacrifices, faced rejection, and pushed through moments of uncertainty, but my passion for creating has never wavered. I’m not just a singer. I’m a songwriter, performer, creative visionary, and an independent artist who has learned to wear every hat necessary to bring my art to life. What makes me the Next Music Star isn’t just my ambition, but my purpose. I want to create music that inspires, challenges boundaries, and makes people feel seen. As a queer pop artist, I want to be part of a generation that pushes representation forward and shows others that being unapologetically yourself is your greatest strength. I’ve spent years building my artistry from the ground up, and I believe I have something meaningful to contribute to the future of pop music. I’m not waiting for someone to make me a star. I’m doing the work to become one.
What do you love about music and performing?
To me, music is so much more than entertainment. It’s spiritual, cosmic, and deeply human. I believe creating music is like sharing a piece of your soul with the world, and there’s something incredibly powerful about that vulnerability. Music has always been my way of understanding myself, processing emotions, and expressing things that words alone sometimes can’t explain. Whether I’m writing something deeply personal or creating a song that makes people want to lose themselves on the dance floor, there’s always a piece of me within it. Performing takes that connection to another level. There’s nothing quite like stepping onto a stage, bringing a vision to life, and sharing that energy with an audience. For those few minutes, we’re all connected through something bigger than ourselves. What I love most is knowing that something I’ve created from my own experiences could become part of someone else’s story. That’s the magic of music, and it’s why I do what I do.
Who are your biggest music inspirations and dream collaborators?
Lady Gaga has always been one of my greatest inspirations, not only for her music but for her fearlessness, theatricality, and commitment to artistic expression. She showed me that pop music could be provocative, emotional, unconventional, and still connect with the world. I’m also deeply inspired by trailblazers like David Bowie and The Beatles, artists who challenged expectations, reinvented themselves, and helped shape music and culture for generations. I admire artists who aren’t afraid to evolve and create something entirely their own. My dream collaborators would be Lady Gaga, Charli XCX, Kim Petras, and legendary producer Max Martin. Each represents something I love about pop music, from boundary-pushing experimentation and unapologetic individuality to undeniable songwriting and production. I’d love to work with creatives who challenge me to push my artistry further while creating something fresh, exciting, and unmistakably my own.
What would you do with the $10,000 Grand Prize?
Winning $10,000 would be genuinely life-changing for me as an independent artist. I’ve invested so much of my own time, money, and resources into pursuing music because I believe wholeheartedly in what I’m creating. That dedication has come with financial sacrifices, including debt I’ve taken on to keep my dreams moving forward. I’d use a portion of the prize to relieve some of that financial pressure, giving myself the freedom to focus more of my energy on creating rather than constantly worrying about how to fund the next step. The remainder would go directly toward bringing my upcoming EP, “Chrome Heart,” to life. I’ve envisioned this project as more than just a collection of songs. It’s a complete artistic experience, with ambitious production, striking visuals, and a story rooted in resilience, identity, and self-discovery. This prize wouldn’t just be financial support. It would be an investment in a vision I’ve spent years working to make a reality.
