What makes you the Next Music Star?
I come from Rwanda carry the soul, the rhythm and the story of my roots in the global sounds. I blend African rhythm, soulful vocals, and fearless storytelling into music that makes you feel something before you even understand the words. I’m not here to fit into the industry; I’m here to bring a new flavor to it. I have the voice, the vision, and the hunger. Now I’m ready for the world to meet Alyn Sano.
What do you love about music and performing?
Music speaks for me where words fail. I get to express myself through beats, lyrics, dance moves. I get to turn my emotions into someone else’s memories. One moment, a stranger is dancing; the next, we’re singing about heartbreak like we’ve known each other for years. That’s the magic I live for: making people feel seen, free, and alive. Performing isn’t just what I do; it’s where I feel most like myself.
Who are your biggest music inspirations and dream collaborators?
I admire artists who build entire worlds around their music. I’m inspired by the global impact of Whitney Houston, the fearless African identity of Burna Boy, the emotional depth of SZA, and the timeless, playful energy of Tiwa Savage. My dream is to collaborate with artists who challenge boundaries and create timeless music. I want to bring Rwanda into those rooms, contribute my own sound, and create something neither artist could have made alone.
What would you do with the $10,000 Grand Prize?
I would turn that $10,000 into momentum. I’d invest in recording world-class music, creating powerful visuals, and marketing my sound to audiences beyond Rwanda. I already have the talent and the vision; I want to build the bridge between where I am and where my music can go. I’d also use part of the opportunity to inspire emerging young artists through my creative community. This wouldn’t just fund my next release; it would help build the next chapter of Alyn Sano.
