About Alana J
I’m a Florida artist who’s written music since my teens. I recently deleted all my secular music and replaced it with music that glorifies God. My mission is to bring Christ’s light into an industry filled with darkness.

What makes you the Next Music Star?
What makes me the next music star is something I’ve felt long before I ever understood it. Since I was about five years old, I would have dreams at night that I was on a stage performing. I didn’t know what those dreams meant back then, but looking back now, I feel like God was planting something in me before I was even old enough to name it. Music has always felt less like something I chose and more like something that chose me. I have an energy, a story, and a sound that I believe I was given for a reason.
What do you love about music and performing?
I love the feeling I get when I create music. It’s like a release—I can let go of stress, emotions, and everything I’ve been carrying. It makes me happy, gives me freedom, and lets me express a side of myself that I can’t always put into words.
Who are your biggest music inspirations and dream collaborators?
My biggest music inspirations are Lil Wayne, Eminem, André 3000, and Nicki Minaj. I’d love to collaborate with artists like Justin Bieber, Post Malone, Kanye West, and others who bring something unique to music.
What would you do with the $10,000 Grand Prize?
I’d invest it into my music—recording, visuals, promotion, and creating the kind of music I’ve always dreamed of making.
