What makes you the Next Music Star?
Entertainment, music, fashion/design, singing/performing, writing songs are my absolute passions. Writing/composing songs, designing fashions for related visuals, and performing related to my artistry come completely from my heart and soul. What makes me the next music star is that I need to create just like I need to breathe. I need to play all my instruments like I need water. Creating my music and related musical artistry is something I never ever would take for granted and pursue it until I can't anymore (meaning until the day I die).
What do you love about music and performing?
I love how healing music and performing is. Music and musical artistry truly saves people, connects people, and make life a little less heavy for moments in time. In some of my darkest days I have always turned to music to get me through. So, for me to be able to channel emotions into words, songs, and performances is healing, freeing, and a gift I will always cherish in my life. It's something that I love to share with the world as well.
Who are your biggest music inspirations and dream collaborators?
My biggest music inspirations are so wide ranging and I've always listened to a lot of different genres all my life. The short list of some of my biggest inspirations and dream collaborators in music would be Johnny Cash, Elton John, Sister Rosetta Tharpe, B.B. King, Ray Charles, Dolly Parton, Michael Jackson, Elvis Presley, Mozart, Eminem, Billy Joel, 2Pac, Tom Petty, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Fleetwood Mac, Prince, Rolling Stones, Led Zepplin, Queen, Chuck Berry, Linkin Park, Nirvana, Sublime, Alan Jackson, Shania Twain, Guns 'N Roses, Ozzy Osbourne, Avicii, Chris Stapleton, Loretta Lynn, Patsy Cline, Bob Dylan, Kendrick Lamar, JCole, Matchbox Twenty, Aretha Franklin. It was hard to make a list this short!
What would you do with the $10,000 Grand Prize?
I would use the grand prize money towards making more musical art. I have a number of projects waiting in the pipeline- songs to be recorded and music videos to create! I would use the money to keep creating inspiring art through my songs and visuals.
