• What do you love about music and performing? What we love most about performing is the people we become on stage. Under the lights, we feel the energy that the crowd gives us and we become the best versions of ourselves. On stage, time stands still and the only thing you can think of is that moment and nothing else.
• Who are your biggest music inspirations and dream collaborators? As musicians all of us are inspired by completely different musicians and styles, and that’s what makes our sound special. Some of our songs sound like Sound Garden, while others remind people of Jimi Hendrix, or even Tame Impala. The culmination of different tastes in sound is our greatest strength, and that combination forged in contrast is what sets us apart.
• What makes you the Next Music Star? We are the next music star because each of us believes that we’ve got something special. There’s an indescribable quality, almost a magic feeling seeing our band play for the first time. We see it on people’s faces every show and it’s part of what motivates us to keep working hard. We play with so much passion that you can see it reflected on the faces of fans, and that brings us joy. You never know how much of an impact your music can have on someone’s day, and brightening the lives of others.
• What would you do with the $10,000? With the $10,000 we would get ourselves some new equipment, fix up Brody’s van, and travel the US bringing music to as many people as possible.
