About Tealxsoul

I grew up listening to a lot of different music and have been blessed with the opportunity to listen to a lot of different genres throughout my lifetime. Right now, I really enjoy KPop a lot, but still listen to some other artists from time to time. Just released my album, Distance, on all streaming platforms too. I'm not completely proud of the full album, but I like at least some of them. They're all self-written and self-produced though.

  • What do you love about music and performing? I love everything from the musicality to the differences that people make from cover to cover whether it's in their instrumentation, pace, or anything else. I love performing because I feel like it gives a voice and shape to my musical journey. I'm always seeking to improve my own music and trying to find new inspiration wherever I can.
  • Who are your biggest music inspirations and dream collaborators? My biggest inspirations have been Tori Kelly, BoA, Jeremy Camp, and Matt Redman. A few dream collaborators would be Tori Kelly, TWICE, NMIXX, and Babymonster.
  • What makes you the Next Music Star? I think my ability to add emotion to shape my voice and convey that to the audience is what makes me the Next Music Star. I always try my best to convey the emotions of any song that I'm covering or, especially, with the songs I write.
  • What would you do with the $10,000? I would save some and probably try to put some towards better equipment so that I can continue to improve my own sound and whatnot.
