Performing gives artists a platform to channel joy, pain, hope, or love in a powerful, universal way. For "Music for Water" we love storytelling while performing. Music for Water serves to leverage the “universal medium and ambassador” of music to ignite a greater awareness of the importance of water around the globe.
• Who are your biggest music inspirations and dream collaborators? "We Are the World," a charity single recorded by artists Michael Jackson, Stevie Wonder, and Lionel Richie, and chorus members Dan Aykroyd and Harry Belafonte. The song was created to raise funds for famine relief in Africa and quickly became a powerful anthem for humanitarian aid. It achieved massive success, not only generating substantial donations but also bringing global attention to the crisis.
• What makes you the Next Music Star? Music for Water artists stand for humanity. We’re at the forefront of advocating for clean water access, climate resilience, and gender inclusion—using our voices to spark global change and uplift vulnerable communities through measurable impact. By competing in The Next Music Star, win or lose, we’re using this platform to amplify our message. The opportunity to be heard makes us champions in our own right—artists raising awareness and driving action for the world’s most pressing issues.
• What would you do with the $10,000? Music for Water will use the $10,000 to advance its advocacy to amplify voices for good and raise awareness about global water issues. We will also produce a Grammy song that will help us raise more awareness and support for our water cause globally.
