About Michael Root Music

I’m 26. Born in San Antonio Texas but grew up near Fort Worth. Now live in Flushing MI. I’ve been performing for almost three years and will soon hit my 200th show. I just performed at my largest venue ever, the Capitol Theater in Flint MI. I will be headlining a festival on a Saturday night for the first time this summer. I’ve won several singing competitions. I tried out for the Voice last October and received a callback (2nd time, also got a callback when I was 19), but won’t be on the show.
