• What do you love about music and performing? Music helps to me express myself, and no matter what I’m feeling, it’s just easier to sing it than to say it! I also grew up doing a lot of musical theater and learned at an early age that I loved to be on stage in front of a live audience. I found my passion when I was able to combine songwriting and performing for the first time.
• Who are your biggest music inspirations and dream collaborators? I would never have picked up a guitar and found my love for country music if it wasn’t for Taylor Swift! I really found my early inspiration from her debut album, but I am also a huge fan of Megan Moroney, Lainey Wilson, and Anne Wilson. They are all INCREDIBLE songwriters!
• What makes you the Next Music Star? I am only 13 and definitely have a lot to learn as a musician and songwriter, but getting the opportunity to be the Next Music Star would give me the opportunity to be mentored by industry legends who could help me develop into the musician I want to be! I am ready to work SO HARD to chase this dream! Thank you for the opportunity!
• What would you do with the $10,000? First, I would buy a real piano because I only have a keyboard at home, and then I would plan a trip to Nashville because it’s my dream to move there and start my music career.
