• What do you love about music and performing? It’s truly magical. Going from writing a song pouring my heart into it, to performing & seeing the way other people connect with my words is out of this world. When I was asked to perform with Coldplay a few months ago in a stadium of 80k people i wasn’t sure how I was going to handle it. But the second I stepped on stage this energy took over me and I never felt so at home. I felt so calm, like that is exactly where I was supposed to be.
• Who are your biggest music inspirations and dream collaborators? My biggest inspiration comes from the era of superstars I grew up with in the 2000s, Britney Spears, Christina, Destinys child. They’re the artists who I channel for every performance. I’ve always dreamed of collaborating with The Weeknd, Raye & more recently have become obsessed with KATSEYE and would love to live out my girl group dreams for one song with the eyekons!!
• What makes you the Next Music Star? To be a star is more then being a good singer or a good performer. You have to put in the WORK, and that is something that without a doubt I have been doing to always be prepared for an opportunity like this. I may be independent but I treat my training like an artist on the highest level. My goal this year was to perform at an I heart radio festival and this feels like it is truly meant to be. JUST LIKE MAGIC!
• What would you do with the $10,000? At the end of last year I worked with some of the best producers in LA on my next project that i am planning to release this year. The biggest set back has been the cost of the producer fees & I am working so hard to save to afford to bring this project to life independently. The 10K will cover some of the producer fees & I will be able to bring the visuals to life with the money I have saved.
