• What do you love about music and performing? Music has always been my favorite way to express myself. It helps me feel connected to the world and performing helps me to feel understood by others. The feeling of getting to share my experiences with an audience is like no other.
• Who are your biggest music inspirations and dream collaborators? Some of my biggest music inspirations are Taylor Swift, Lizzy McAlpine, Phoebe Bridgers, Joni Mitchell, etc. Liz Rose is another big inspiration for me, and the thought of connecting with her through this competition is an absolute dream. I love the raw, honest, and poetic nature of the art that these writers create.
• What makes you the Next Music Star? I care deeply about creating music that is honest and genuine. I have worked hard to grow as a songwriter and performer, and I am ready to take the next step while continuing to learn and grow along the way. I am excited about the opportunity to share my work with the world.
• What would you do with the $10,000? I would use the $10,000 to help support my family and invest in my education and music career. I would also save a portion of it to continue building toward a sustainable future for myself as an artist.
