- What do you love about music and performing? Music is such a powerful way for people to express themselves and share stories. It comes in so many different forms, yet can be understood across every barrier. I love the way songs can resonate with listeners and create communities of understanding between strangers. I feel the happiest and most at home in myself when I perform and create music. It’s a form of coping and release. But it also allows me to bring joy and entertainment to other people, while doing what I love.
- Who are your biggest music inspirations and dream collaborators? My music inspiration is wide and varied, but some of my top inspirations are The Chicks, Niall Horan, Dolly Parton, and Kacey Musgraves. It’d be a dream to write or perform with any of them.
- What would you do with the $10,000? I would divide a portion of the winnings to donate to Lancaster County food banks, the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, and Music For Everyone. I’d invest the remaining money back into my music - equipment, educational courses, etc. - so I can continue to make each project and performance better than the last.
